越南發生暴動，大家都愛用的Facebook在這時派上用場，一群華人組成臉書社團「513越南排華最新情況回報」，分享大量當地資訊，且大多直接露名，以利家人搜尋。

越南發生排華暴動，包含胡志明市台灣學校校長蕭穗珍在內，不少人透過臉書分享當地訊息，也有小孩子上臉書找父親。

網友分享自己所在地，且說明現場狀況。從社團上分享的照片可看到，有人痛心疾呼為什麼要燒我家的機具，還有連卡車也被推翻的慘狀。
