pushy何意?

pushy一詞本來只被用來形容一種惹人不快的進取態度，用於女性則有明顯的性別歧視含意，成為咄咄逼人、得寸進尺。由遣詞用字可知下筆者的立場：同一件事，女性爭取是pushy，男性爭取卻是persuasive(有說服力、以理服人)。

《紐約客》雜誌說，紐時總編輯艾布蘭森向紐時高層爭取同工同酬，"this may have fed into the management's narrative that she was 'pushy'"：「這事可能助長了高層將她視為pushy之論。」
