【更新】中油人員探勘落海　未穿救生衣2死

台灣中油公司探採事業部正進行後龍溪出海口地質鑽探工程，中午12:30許，3名員工和2名包商，想要趁著海水退潮時，涉水要到出海口中的沙洲工地，但都沒有穿救生衣，其中3人先下水突然踩不到底落水，中油員工邱明浩自行游上岸，其同事陳維志和外包工人涂樂平溺斃。

下午1時許，涂男被現場同伴救上沙洲、但已無生命跡象。陳被快速退潮的海水夾帶到外海，相隔1小時，失蹤陳男被空勤隊直升機發現，由岸巡單位出動橡皮艇到距出海口北岸外海打撈，但他被拉救上岸時口吐白沫，也無生命跡象。

中油探採處說，測勘處月前執行後龍溪地質鑽探調查工作，在出海口附近劃設100個鑽探點，由包商協助鑽探30米深的調查井，調查海床地下形貌是否可能薀藏具開採價值的油氣結構，意外發生原因仍待釐清。(楊永盛、吳傑沐／苗栗報導)
