蘋果布局物聯網，聯手電信商打造「超速網路烏托邦」

蘋果在WWDC上陸續公布智慧家庭平臺「HomeKit」與康管理軟體「HealthKit」，若再加上可以提高網速十倍的「超速網路烏托邦」，蘋果對物聯網大戰略的布局已然全速啟動。

蘋果專利網站Patently Apple報導指出，蘋果正在與南韓電信商KT與中國大陸電信業者合作，計畫發展超高速連網技術，藉以應付物聯網時代來臨所增加的網路流量需求。

在另一方面，由於各家業者閉門造車，使得各種感應裝置訊號互相干擾，並間接限制物聯網發展。KT執行長黃昌圭(Hwang Chang-gyu)指出，為實現「超速網路烏托邦」，物聯網必須先行整合，並制定統一技術規格。

據市調機構IDC預測，2020年全球物聯網市場規模將自2013年的1.9兆美元成長至7.1兆美元。
