囧！17歲女拋蝴蝶球 他揮空

光芒隊在主場與海盜隊比賽前來了一位稀客，年輕17歲的高中小女孩雀兒喜(Chelsea Baker)，穿著印有她名字的光芒隊球衣來訪，綁著馬尾的她「歐巴」練投，秀出招牌蝴蝶球，速度雖慢卻難以掌握，就連看板人物，曾一季轟出33支全壘打的隆戈利亞(Evan Longoria)也揮空，對女孩的犀利球路臣服。

雀兒喜從小就很喜歡打棒球，就算長大之後仍然熱愛，並勤練蝴蝶球，在某天某個頒獎典禮中與光芒總教練梅登(Joe Maddon)相識，並且受到賞識，獲邀擔任光芒隊主場的特別佳賓，在大聯盟「哥哥」的面前秀出她的武器。24日來到球場，即便雀兒喜戴著眼鏡，仍擋不住她清秀的面貌。

別看雀兒喜外表纖瘦，投起球來可是非常有架勢，光芒隊派出很愛揮棒的投手普萊斯(David Price)，不容易被三振的老將捕手莫里納(Jose Molina)以及看板明星隆戈利亞，都對她的球路一籌莫展，不是揮空就是打不好，讓這些大聯盟球員們有些吃不消。

完成投球後，雀兒喜和光芒們相見歡，並與球員、教練合照之後，結束歡樂的下午。雀兒喜開心地說，當她要求隆戈利亞也上來打時，沒想到對方會答應，自己完全被嚇到，「但這真的很有趣，渡過愉快的時光。我完成了好多事，完全超乎我的想像，那是非常棒的機會。」

梅登對於自己看上的小球員也相當稱讚，「她表現的很傑出，有支很好的臂膀，而且真的有顆不錯的蝴蝶球，軌跡實在漂亮。她知道自己在做什麼，而且非常沉著，是個耀眼的小女生，讓我印象深刻。」
