葉倫預期 年底前 經濟將獲得改善

聯準會(Fed)主席葉倫周三說，儘管美國經濟於第一季表現遲緩，但預期年底時，將較2013年改善。

「嚴寒冬季已過，近來許多指標顯示，支出與生產反彈已經展開，這讓整體經濟於本季可望穩健成長，」葉倫在為國會聯合經濟委員會準備的講稿中說道。

葉倫說，她預期今年經濟成長的速度，會較2013年的1.9%成長率更快一些。

她說，一項風險在於，房屋市場減緩可能較預期更久。勞工市場情況已改善，但距滿意程度仍遙遠。

這位Fed主席說，由於經濟產能閒置，確保了高度貨幣寬鬆政策。

她再度強調彈性的政策路線，有利反應展望的改變。
