澳央行維持利率在2.5%低點不變

彭博報導，澳洲中央銀行維持基準利率在歷史低點不變，因溫和的消費者物價和預計削減政府開支給予決策官員刺激就業密集型產業的空間。

澳洲央行今天聲明，總裁史蒂文斯（GlennStevens）和理事會成員維持隔夜現金利率目標在2.5%。這項決策符合彭博訪調33位經濟家全數預測，且市場已反應利率的按兵不動。

澳洲4月消費者物價上漲低於預期，因澳元升值超越進口物價，讓澳洲央行在國庫部長霍基（Joe Hockey）可能削減支出之際維持借貸成本在低點。

澳元今年以來累升約4%，在10種主要貨幣中僅次於紐元。澳元走堅幫助通貨膨脹受到抑制，第1季通膨率由前季的0.9%減緩至0.5%。
