領角鴞又來 通霄分局迎老友

〔自由時報記者蔡政珉／通霄報導〕「勿～勿～勿～」通霄警分局最近常傳來這樣的聲音，不過，員警早已習以為常，原來是保育類野生動物領角鴞又到分局報到。

員警表示，幾年來每到春暖時分，領角鴞就會來分局報到，每聽到嬌客叫聲，大家都知道已經進入春天了，將頭探出窗外尋覓領角鴞蹤跡。

員警說，領角鴞常到分局報到，漸漸把分局附近的樹當成自己地盤，曾見過領角鴞直接擊墜飛來分局棲息的班鳩，讓人嚇了一大跳。

苗栗縣野鳥協會總幹事溫春福指出，領角鴞因人為獵殺的威脅逐漸消除，數量變多，算是目前比較容易見到的貓頭鷹。大多分布在丘陵和低海拔地區，每年三月至八月是繁殖季，因為不會築巢，會找尋有樹洞的地方棲息。
