美羅州笨匪持馬鈴薯打劫 被識破就逮

羅德島州地方電視台「WPRI-TV 」28日報導了該州上周發生的搶匪與店家「鬥智」案，結果持馬鈴薯假裝槍械打劫的匪徒落敗被捕，控以搶劫罪。

WPRI-TV 指出，這名自作聰明的搶匪是34歲的戴明(Gary Deming )，他在21日偽稱持有手槍，向一家便利和一家乾洗店打劫，但手中揮舞的其實是一個馬鈴薯。結果便利商店經理持棒球棒把他趕跑。乾洗店員工更棋高一著，從掩人耳目的收銀機中取出20元假鈔給他。

實際沒有武裝的戴明隨即被警方輕易逮捕。警方說，他當天還闖進姐姐的家，偷走一個皮包、銷帳卡及100元現金。目前未悉戴明是否聘請了辯護律師。
