鼓勵生產報國 永和區長愛當媒人

新北市永和區長吳興邦見國民生育率「直直落」，在所內見同仁單身就積極當「媒人」，上任一年已撮合兩對情侶。有職員懷孕待產，他也贈送毛毯祝福，鼓勵女同仁「再多生幾個」、「增產報國」。

永和地狹人稠，去年4月永和人口還有23萬多人，但至今年3月銳減1771人。吳興邦說，看到人口不斷減少，心裡焦急，加上區公所內有不少單身同仁，他會先觀察，看到某個男同仁、女同仁似乎互有好感，他會在後「推一把」。

永和區公所內目前已有5名同仁請育嬰假、2人待產，他常以自己哄小孩、為孩子換尿布等「甜蜜的回憶」鼓勵同仁生孩子，且可申請新北市府的產檢車資津貼、生育獎勵金補助、育兒津貼等。

吳興邦也會送毛毯、蛋糕等禮物公開「表揚」懷孕同仁。懷胎9個月的永和區公所民政課員工吳家雯，下個月就要生產，她說「非常緊張」，但可請產檢假、產前假，先生也可請陪產假，讓她安心不少。
