警察也能用手機監控路口畫面了！為了讓路口監視系統更為普及，新竹縣竹東警分局購入「行動無線網路監視器」，架設在分局大門與周圍路口，以智慧型手機等行動載具就能看到錄影畫面，以達即時監控之效果，成為維護治安的最佳利器。

只要在有網路的環境下，警員就能以手機監控轄區，讓治安無死角。（記者魯鋼駿／攝影）

竹東警分局長黃志祥，去年9月到任後積極提升轄區巡邏與監控。他認為，由政府建置的監視系統大多設在大型路口或人口較密集處，許多巷弄皆無法有效監控，容易成為治安死角。

竹東警分局資訊組員游英杰熟悉資訊器材，認為市售的「行動無線網路監視器」可運用在此，嘗試購入3組，分別架設在分局大門、世界街口與分局側方等位置，運用現有網路將即時影像傳送到智慧型手機或iPad，讓警員「走到哪都能監控」。

游英杰說，目前購入家用型無線網路監視器，希望能克服電力、網路等問題，倘若民眾或店家能協助提供電力或網路，就能快速將監控設備散布到每個角落。
