下顎突出就診　牙醫生削骨整形變歪臉

陳姓男子2010年就讀牙醫系時，覺得自己下顎過於突出又不對稱，因此去長庚醫院求診，由羅姓醫師替他進行整形削骨手術，但他指控手術失敗，造成他顏面神經終身癱瘓變歪臉，自己還一度中斷牙醫學業，甚至想自殺，他求償180萬元，獲判准42萬餘元；仍可上訴。

台北地院審理認為，醫院在替陳男動手術時，的確有疏失，造成他顏面神經受損，陳男在事後，已另至台北榮總修復，法官認為，他的臉部外觀看起來已大致對稱，判他可獲賠精神慰撫金10萬元、醫療費及薪資損失32萬餘元。（劉志原／台北報導）
