逃過死劫 比特犬成稱職「代理媽媽」

雖然Cher沒有生過小狗，但牠的「母愛」仍融化不少小狗。

美國加州一間慈善機構收容所中，一隻被遺棄的比特犬最近找到牠「人生的意義」，就是成為「代理媽媽」，照顧所內其他被棄養的小狗。牠稱職的照顧更讓牠被獲准永久定居在收容所，未來幫助更多的小狗。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，「代理媽媽」Cher在2010年曾差點被安樂死，幸得一位志工Mia Anelli及時把牠救回來。Mia Anelli其後幫Cher找到4個不同的寄養家庭，可惜Cher都未能適應新環境，這位志工最後決定把牠留在動物救援中心。近日她發現Cher擔當起「代理媽媽」的角色，照顧其他被遺棄的小狗。

致力於「代理媽媽」工作，Cher對收容所內的其他小狗愛心滿分，雖然Cher沒有生過小狗，但牠的「母愛」仍融化不少小狗。牠不時與其他小狗分享美食和玩具，對於收容所「新來報到」的狗狗，Cher會熱烈歡迎這些新成員，使新成員很快便適應新動物收容所的新生活。

Cher悉心照顧其他小狗的表現獲得收容所青睞，收容所負責人決定把牠永遠留在所內。Mia Anelli表示沒想過Cher能成為這麼出色的「搜救獵犬」，猜測Cher成為「代理媽媽」的原因可能是因為牠曾經被救過，明白其他狗狗的感受，或者是牠想試試當媽媽的感覺。

Cher悉心照顧其他小狗的表現獲得收容所青睞，收容所負責人決定把牠永遠留在所內。
