〔自由時報記者陳梅英／台北報導〕世界經濟論壇（WEF）4月1日發布《2014全球貿易便利指數》（The Global Enabling Trade Index 2014），台灣於138個經濟體中排名第24名，較前次進步5名。

在四大項報告中，退步最多的項目為市場進入，台灣從101名退步20名，到121名，主要是台灣企業出口進入外國市場貿易平均關稅率達6%，及出口目標市場最惠國關稅率較其他出口國為高，使得台灣「進入國外市場關稅率」排名136名，「目標市場最惠國關稅差距」排名134名。

若把南韓與台灣拉出來看，南韓從2010年來陸續與印度、歐盟、秘魯、美國、土耳其的FTA生效，貿易加權平均關稅率一路從5.8%降至5.3%，在「進入國外市場關稅率」排名從110名大幅成長至此次的55名。然而，以「進入市場」這項指標來看，台灣今年退步至121名，只比南韓退步1名，南韓這項指標排名是120名。

WEF這項貿易便利排名由四大項目構成，台灣除了在市場進入大退步外，其他3項包括「邊境管理」、「基礎建設」、「營運環境」都進步，分別從31名進步至18名、19名進步至15名、22名進步至18名。

新加坡蟬聯此排名第一名，香港居第二，日本則從18名進步到13名，南韓則排名30。
