科技巨擘憂監控 歐巴馬開會討論

（路透華盛頓/舊金山21日電）包括臉書（Facebook）和谷歌（Google）在內，美國幾家大型網路公司的執行長今天會見美國總統歐巴馬，談論對政府監控計畫的擔憂。

歐巴馬與資深幕僚會晤6位科技公司執行長，討論情報、科技、隱私相關議題後，白宮發布聲明。有人目睹這些執行長在美東時間下午4時進入白宮，2個多小時後離開。 白宮說，與會人士包括搜尋引擎龍頭谷歌執行董事長施密特（Eric Schmidt）、社群網站一哥臉書執行長祖克柏（Mark Zuckerberg）、網路串流服務NetflixInc執行長哈斯汀（Reed Hastings）。 雲端儲存兼分享公司Box執行長李維（Aaron Levie）、Dropbox執行長修斯頓（Drew Houston）、數據挖掘公司Palantir Technologies執行長卡普（Alex Carp）也共襄盛舉。Palantir Technologies部分接受中央情報局（CIA）支持，客戶包括國家安全局（NSA）。 白宮說：「總統重申政府致力採取行動，讓人民對於權利受到保障與保有重要維安工具並行不悖更具信心。」 但祖克柏透過發言人說：「美國政府採取有益措施，改革監控計畫，但是還不夠。」 他說，全球民眾理應保有資訊安全，「臉書將繼續敦促美國政府在執行監控方面更透明、增加對公民自由的保護」。 業界人士說，祖克柏在臉書貼文公開抨擊美國電子監控計畫2天後，各與會人士於15日收到與歐巴馬會面的邀請函。 這不是歐巴馬第1次就監控問題與科技業龍頭開會。去年12月，微軟（Microsoft Corp）、AT&T和蘋果（Apple Inc）執行長等一大群科技業高層也和歐巴馬開會，敦促政府遏制電子監控行動。 雅虎（Yahoo）、LinkedIn Corp等公司執行長另有行程，不克出席與歐巴馬的會議。中央社（翻譯）
