挪威農夫餓死400隻豬 判刑1年

（法新社奧斯陸21日電） 挪威廣播公司（NRK）報導，1名農夫讓400多隻豬渴死、餓死，遭挪威法庭判刑1年。

挪威南部滕斯貝格（Toensberg）法庭宣布：「被告知情（豬隻的狀況）已有一段時間，卻沒有做任何事情阻止這樁動物悲劇，本庭無法理解。」檢方原本求處7個月徒刑，法庭最後加重判刑1年。

根據NRK，法庭在判決書說：「考慮到豬隻的數量和受折磨的程度，這樁動物悲劇在挪威相當罕見。」

2013年2月，有人向食品安全當局舉發這名男子的農場疏於照顧動物。當局調查後發現有400多隻豬死亡，另外有60隻豬情況不佳，只能撲殺。

被告農夫出庭時辯解說，農場經營不善，且家人生病導致他壓力很大。

農夫說，雖然他知道這些動物的情況，但他太害怕，不敢進豬舍去看牠們發生什麼事。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
