〔記者林三豐／綜合報導〕楊恩昨天季後賽首次踏進打擊區，第1次揮棒就以清壘二壘安打痛擊前東家老虎，只是他若能懂得控制脾氣或體重，大聯盟之路或許不會如此坎坷。

楊恩在2003年以選秀狀元被光芒選中，卻因脾氣不佳，2006年在3A比賽與主審發生口角，他把球棒砸向對方胸口，幸好之後有悔意，才減輕處分到禁賽50場。

2012年楊恩效力老虎時老毛病又犯，球隊前往紐約比賽時，他在下榻旅館與旅客衝突遭警方逮捕，比賽開打前不到1小時才獲交保。

楊恩2010年還在雙城時，春訓前他努力減到200磅（約91.7公斤），該年打擊率2成98、21轟與118分打點都是生涯最佳。但他在2013年轉戰費城人時，體重已回到238磅，合約中還附帶體重控制條款，若達成條件可多領60萬美元，只是顯然沒有太大效果，今年他以小聯盟約加入金鶯，官網上的體重是240磅，影響守備靈活度，上場空間就受限。
