【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】《日經新聞》報導，日本Panasonic公司自7月1日起，將把持續虧損的LCD面板事業從電視部門分割後，轉而設置在汽車與工業系統部門之下，藉以降低面板事業對電視應用的依賴。

目前Panasonic的LCD面板事業屬於視聽通訊網路部門。Panasonic已在今年4月將電視部門併入家電事業。

Panasonic的電視面板占整體LCD業務營收的四成左右，但其利潤相當微薄，因此Panasonic計畫將這個比重降低至30%上下。在給了LCD面板事業一個新家後，Panasonic計畫為其他LCD面板應用－包括汽車導航系統等，打造新的客戶群。

Panasonic在日本兵庫縣的姬路廠開發和製造LCD面板。該廠將自7月起生產利潤較高的面板，包括醫療保健設備使用的面板。

報導中指出，Panasonic的LCD面板事業本財年（截至2015年3月底）的營業虧損仍可能達到46億日圓。
