請問D-link DIR-619L改成無線HUB會影響Wi-Fi強度嗎?

我家是透天，因為2樓中華電信的VDSL數據機發出來的Wi-Fi訊號不是很穩定，
4樓跟1樓常常收不到訊號或斷訊，
所以我買了2台D-link的DIR-619L，各自放在4樓和1樓，
連結好的Wi-Fi訊號非常好，連後方廁所都收的到。

後來這幾天想把放在1樓很久沒看的MOD拿出來看世足跟即將開播的曼迪日本台，
才發現MOD不能直接接在分享器後面，
爬文找到的解決方案有3個：

方案1.買1台HUB來接MOD跟DIR-619L
方案2.再買一台有MOD專用接頭的無線分享器
方案3.關掉DIR-619L的DHCP功能，把它當成無線HUB使用

方案1因為我電視牆已經沒有多餘的電源插座可已用，確定不可行。
現在想請問各位的是方案3的方法會不會影響Wi-Fi的訊號強度呢？
譬如原本房屋後方的廁所會變成收不到訊號之類的，
會影響訊號的話，就只能認賠選擇方案2了。
