【時報-台北電】由日本電信業者軟銀（Softbank）研發，台灣鴻海集團負責代工的機器人Pepper，周五於東京首度上工，忙著與顧客打招呼交朋友。

Pepper被標榜為能瞭解人類情感的機器人，周五第一天於表參道手機門市的表現，更證明Pepper將成為軟銀的行銷利器。

「您今天專程來與我會面嗎？」、「很高興認識您」，Pepper能夠與顧客自然的問答。120公分高的Pepper透過滾輪移動，胸前裝有一部類似平板電腦的儀器。

軟銀社長孫正義表示，Pepper是具有情感的機器人，能理解70％至80％的日常對話。

首日上工的Pepper，不僅手舞足蹈，也與顧客對話，互動自然，驚艷所有在場人士。28歲的矢部逸美表示，Pepper太可愛了，就像真正的小孩。

此外，Pepper能協助執行市場調查。軟銀事業發展與管理部門副總監表示，Pepper能夠分析數據，指出什麼樣產品內容能取悅大眾。讓Pepper待在門市，遠比從電視或百貨大螢幕上所見，更能吸引目光。(新聞來源：工商時報─記者洪紹運／綜合外電報導)
