例行賽帶出51勝成績，卻得走人、下台，前勇士教頭Mark Jackson為子弟兵感到榮耀，也為自己叫屈。

勇士連兩季晉級季後賽，卻都淘汰出局。「上季，我們在季後賽沒有David Lee可用，這一季，Andrew Bogut不幸缺陣，」Jackson說，「但我們這次跟第三種子、跟世界前十好手裡的兩人、最佳第六人、以及未來名人堂教練，奮戰到了第七場，我敢說，我們以自己的成就為榮。」

然而，勇士還是炒他魷魚。令Jackson不能接受的是，他明明還沒收到確定通知，大家卻都看報紙就知道。

「我跟老闆、總經理，就我們三個人，在辦公室裡面開會，但推特已經在傳，我要被開除了，這一行不是這樣搞的。」Jackson說。

這位前教頭也認為，他擔任牧師、或是沒住在球隊所在地，都不該成為被解雇的理由：「我又沒有帶著聖經到處K別人的頭！勇士隊聘用我的時候，就知道我不住在這裡，Doc Rivers執教塞爾提克時，也住在奧蘭多啊！」

「勇士老闆Joe Lacob昨天說，要是回到過去，他會要求我搬到灣區，但我們又無法回到過去。而且，若他一定要我搬家，我搞不好就不來帶了。」Jackson說，「若你要我搬過來，那就買下我在洛杉磯的房子，然後在灣區幫我準備住的地方，難道不合理嗎？」

「我是最早進辦公室的人，也是最晚離開的，所以別拿我不住這當理由。就讓我們像成熟的大人一樣，放下、向前看吧！」
