美前財長：曾建議希拉蕊接財長

（中央社華盛頓8日綜合外電報導）美國前財政部長蓋特納（Timothy Geithner）在新出版的回憶錄裡說，他在2010年考慮辭去財政部長一職，並建議讓希拉蕊接替他的職務。

美聯社報導，歐巴馬拒絕蓋特納的提議，蓋特納繼續擔任財長至2013年。

蓋特納回憶錄將於下週出版，美聯社今天買到試印版。

蓋特納向白宮提議讓希拉蕊擔任新財長時，提到她擔任國務卿時展現的明星魅力。蓋特納提議的新財長人選也包括現任財長路傑克（Jack Lew）。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）1030509
