裝設人工心臟幫浦 心衰奶奶成鋼鐵人

80歲老奶奶(右二)心臟衰竭，若不進行心臟移植手術，一年內就會失去生命，振興醫院心臟醫學中心主任魏崢(左二)為她裝了人工心臟幫浦協助心臟運作，恢復正常生活，某種程度也取代換心手術。

一名80歲老奶奶，嚴重心臟衰竭，若不即刻換心，將立刻死亡，醫師為她裝上「心伴左心室輔助系統」，用人工幫浦協助心臟正常運作，把血液打到全身，原本僅能臥床、喘不過氣的老奶奶，現在不僅可起身，還計畫出國旅遊。

振興醫院心臟醫學中心主任魏崢表示，國內有8500多人在等待各類器官捐贈，但每年捐贈者僅百人，不少末期的心臟衰竭患者還等心臟移植就往生，且以老奶奶的年紀，在換心的器官移植登錄名單上，根本排不到，過去患者僅能痛苦地等待生命終結，但現在裝設「心伴左心室輔助系統」，可延長患者生命，即刻解決患者喘不過氣、下不了床的困境。
