《交通》台鐵貨運列車脫軌翻覆，幸無傷亡

【時報-台北電】一輛滿載水泥的貨運列車，9日上午11時10分南下行經新城鄉嘉新橋時，因不明原因脫軌，其中3節車廂掉入美崙溪中，3節脫軌翻覆於橋上，所幸沒有造成任何傷亡。台鐵人員已調動吊車支援，並派員搶修鐵軌，希望能趕在9日晚間搶通。

台鐵花蓮運務段運務主任曾鐘榮表示，該段鐵路由亞洲水泥、台灣水泥、中國鋼鐵3家公司共用，上午第7358列次貨物列車，自新城鄉運送亞泥公司水泥粉末至花蓮港，共有17節車廂，其中第6至第11節車廂脫軌，造成鐵路運輸受阻。

曾鐘榮說，在進入嘉新橋前的彎道，發現外側護軌受損，研判可能是因外軌摩耗導致脫軌，但也不排除是車輛故障，事故原因仍有待進一步調查釐清。(新聞來源：中時即時 阮迺閎)
