綠蠵龜卡卡病癒 重返大海

〔自由時報記者薛翰駿／觀音報導〕台電大潭發電廠放流口元月廿四日發現一隻受困的綠蠵龜，當時出現「凍昏」狀況，因飢餓致低血糖，十分危急，經過海洋大學團隊二個多月細心照顧，恢復活力，昨在觀音濱海遊憩區經三百多人見證順利回到大海。

受困時凍昏、低血糖 十分危急

大潭發電廠廠長陳俊偕表示，發現綠蠵龜受困就立即停止機器運轉，隨即出動潛水員、吊車將牠救出，再通知縣府農業局處理，轉交長期研究綠蠵龜的海洋大學海洋生物研究所教授程一駿團隊照顧。

程一駿說，綠蠵龜當時全身佈滿汙泥和海藻，也有鯊魚咬痕，且出現綠蠵龜有「凍昏」狀況，同時因長時間未進食，還有低血糖症狀，可以說是「飢寒交迫」。

由於綠蠵龜長近一公尺，重達一百二十公斤，放在桶子裡看起來「卡卡」的，照顧牠的海大同學為牠取名叫做「卡卡」。

「卡卡」左後肢有廿年前日本海龜協會在牠產卵時繫上的鈦合金標誌卡，廿年後又在台灣被營救，台日交流協會秘書長岡田健一昨天也來到現場，加上縣府農業局長曾榮鑑、縣議員吳宗憲、觀音鄉長歐炳辰、觀音國中、大潭、上大、保生、觀音國小師生兩百多人，都在海濱共同見證「卡卡」返回大海。
