南韓媒體中央日報日文版2日報導，根據韓國交易所及韓國上市企業協議會以494家主要上市企業為對象進行分析顯示，2013年南韓上市企業營收年增1.8%至1,018兆韓圜(約100兆日圓)，營益年增4.9%至101兆韓圜，純益則年減4.37%至62兆韓圜、已連續第3年陷入衰退。據報導，在列入分析對象的上市企業中，高達28.8%比重於2013年陷入虧損局面。

報導指出，2013年三星電子(Samsung Electronics)營益年增17.8%至36兆7,850億韓圜，純益也年增26.6%至30兆4,748億韓圜，營益、純益佔整體上市企業比重分別達36.4%、49.4%。據報導，2013年南韓上市企業純益前2-10位的合計值還比不上三星一家，而若扣除三星業績不算，2013年南韓上市企業營益將年減4.6%、純益將大減23.2%。

2010年三星純益佔整體上市企業比重為19.9%，之後於2011年成長至30.7%、2012年為36.8%。
