美華盛頓州土石流 8死18失蹤

美國救援人員23日表示，華盛頓州西雅圖東北方的小鎮歐索(Oso)，22日遭到一起大規模土石流侵襲，造成至少8人死亡，18人失蹤，先前公布的死亡人數為4人。

救援人員說，土石流夾帶泥土、岩石及樹木，22日衝進歐索鎮的街道和民宅，造成3人立即喪命，後來搜救人員又在泥石裡找到另1具屍體。

史挪合米許郡(Snohomish County)消防隊長霍茨(Travis Hots)23日在當地區域會議中宣布，死亡人數增至8人。

西雅圖時報報導，土石流侵襲的範圍約為2.4公里，深度約為4到6公尺。根據報導，除了造成人命傷亡外，還有6間民房損毀、1條高速公路受到重創。

另外，華盛頓州長英斯利(Jay Inslee)稍早前宣布，歐索鎮進入緊急狀態。
