新北市近日出現潑酸怪客，但針對的不是人而是行道樹，三重區重陽路為示範道路，種植人行道樹也以20多年，與三重居民共同成長，但最近幾天，卻出現不明中年子，疑似用工業強酸，倒入行道樹的根部，讓樹木吸收，試圖讓行道樹死亡。
 
本周一有民眾在行道樹旁發現工業強酸的空瓶，並在樹根處發現有大量藍色的結晶體，立刻通報當地幸福里長李恩賜，里長得知後，立刻到現場查看，並通知公所派人用水清理遭影響的樹木根部，希望可以挽回樹木的性命，並向警方報案，是要揪出這名惡劣男子，目前受影響的行道樹約7到8顆，其中1棵已面臨死亡。
 
經建科查看後表示，藍色結晶提疑似工業用強酸，倒入樹木根部使其吸收後，樹木輕則枯黃掉葉，重則倒塌死亡，不只影響樹木性命，更會影響過路人的安全，當地居民指稱有名中年男子疑似就是潑酸怪客，警方獲報後已開始著手進行調查。（張貴翔／新北報導）
