養殖大閘蟹 恐威脅台灣原生種

民眾愛啖大閘蟹，但學者警告說，大閘蟹是外來種，並不適合台灣的生長環境，有影響生態的疑慮。

清大生命科學系教授曾晴賢表示，大陸的大閘蟹屬於溫帶毛蟹，主要生長區域在長江以北的溫帶地區；台灣除了少數山區、有泉水的地方，必須增加養殖設備才能養出品質好、體型大的大閘蟹，因此會增加養殖成本。

曾晴賢表示，養殖業者不應該迷信外來物種，台灣有比大閘蟹更好的本土毛蟹品種，如分布在台灣西部的日本絨螯蟹，以及台灣特有的數扁絨螯蟹；這兩種台灣本土毛蟹是熱帶亞熱帶種類，比較適合台灣的生長環境。

農委會漁業署長沙志一表示，漁業署並不鼓勵漁民飼養大陸大閘蟹，但目前本土毛蟹養殖技術仍未突破，加上大閘蟹在台灣已經逐漸形成小型產業，漁業署會做好防逃評估，並委託學者進行生態監控，不讓破壞環境的情事發生。
