廣州外籍人士 每百名有17人來自非洲

目前在廣州市居住的外國人有8.6萬人，其中非洲籍人員有1.5萬人，這意味著居住在廣州的外國人中，每百名就有17人來自非洲。

廣州警方指出，今年前八個月，從廣州口岸入出境的外國人有305萬人次，其中非洲籍為37萬人次，占12.1%。

2007 年，中國商務部宣布，中國已經超過法國成為非洲第一大交易夥伴；2013年，中非貿易額達到2,102億美元，中國已連續5年成為非洲第一大交易夥伴國。
