國民體育日　嘉義縣串連全台學生跳繩

嘉義縣配合9月9日國民體育日教育部推動跳繩串連，透過視訊與屏東縣、台東縣的國中小學生，同步見證新北市萬人跳繩挑戰金氏紀錄的活動，縣長張花冠希望藉由推展跳繩培養學生健康的運動習慣，將運動觀念扎根與落實在每一位孩子心中，打造嘉義縣成為「運動ㄟ嘉義，健康的城市」。

嘉義縣積極推行樂活運動，結合社區民俗特色運動外，也配合中央體育政策，以有限資源創造「健康的縣民、進步的縣政」，來自太保國中、國小及朴子國中、六嘉國中、永慶中學等五所推展跳繩運動的學校近700百位學生，9日上午在太保國中參加由教育部舉行的「全臺學生跳繩串連活動」，並透過視訊共同見證新北市挑戰萬人跳繩金氏紀錄。

張花冠應邀視訊致詞時指出，嘉義縣是一個注重健康與休閒的活力城市，近年結合社區民俗特色運動積極推行、扎根在地體育觀念，如太保國中2006年開始推廣角力運動，至今已培育無數的角力好手，也配合永慶中學與中正大學建立角力四級培訓升學計畫，讓選手在學業與訓練之間取得平衡與雙贏。而連續3年舉辦的全縣國中小8人制跳繩比賽，已由2011年的1420人增加到2013年的8305人，全面帶動小朋友走出戶外的運動風氣。
