改建前 環南市場今滅鼠大戰

台北市環南市場即將改建，為避免拆除時造成市場內的老鼠亂竄到附近的社區、住家，環南市場今天下午三點將進行滅鼠大作戰。市場處副處長許玄謀表示，已委託環保公司準備兩千四百片黏鼠片及誘鼠餌等，擺在環南市場的四棟大樓跟舊家禽市場內，並以鐵絲網圍堵水溝，塗抹辣味或苦味的忌避劑，以防堵老鼠跑出市場。

環南市場因建築物老舊，約有一千三百家攤商，在鼠患問題嚴重的情形下，改建工程一度停擺，而今年終於要改建了，但市場處跟環保局在中元節三天，抓到兩百隻老鼠，趁著明、後天市場休市，廠商下午三點要進場滅鼠。

市場處表示，此次滅鼠若能在40分鐘、8個觀測點，發現低於5隻老鼠，或是全市場捉到600隻，就算達到老鼠密度降低的標準，若達成目標，月底就可拆除舊家禽市場，並進行後續整建工作。
