榮化：盼大社廠盡速恢復營運

（中央社記者潘智義台北8日電）李長榮化工表示，期盼在完成大社廠檢討改善，並提交檢修報告，及後續管線維護計畫給高雄市政府後，能夠儘快恢復生產，以照顧員工家庭生計。

榮化指出，因高雄氣爆事件，高雄市政府經濟發展局今天發函，要求大社廠於文到日起即時停工，並全面檢討改善廠內、外石化原料輸送管線，及生產設備安全性，對此函告內容，予以尊重。

榮化強調，對於高雄市政府保護民眾生命、安全考量，將會全力配合，但憂心大社廠停工，影響員工及家庭人數，恐達5千多人。

榮化說，做為上市公司，有責任照顧員工及其家屬，也需對廣大的股東負責。希望大社廠能正常營運，以負責任的態度面對此次氣爆事件。1030808
