蘋果將推大尺寸手機，預估出貨可成長4成，台廠供應鏈老班底能旺上加旺，新面孔也初嚐蘋果香味。低本益比的「新蘋概」成軍，下半年股價可望挑戰波段高點。

2007 年美國蘋果公司推出iPhone手機，成功結合了手機與多種3C 產品，並首次引入多點觸控面板，替市場重新定位了手機的使用者介面，因而成為全球智慧型手機的領導者，銷售成績亦連續多年獨占業界鰲頭。

iPhone 使用的iOS 作業系統，與後來跟進推出智慧型手機的非蘋陣營所使用的Android，這2大陣營多年來在中高階市場分庭抗禮，誰對誰都不服氣。不過，雖然iPhone 手機擁護者眾，但在手機尺寸上，非蘋陣營則明顯領先蘋果一步，成功掀起一股「5吋手機」的風潮，甚至最大以6.44吋大螢幕的產品，挖了7吋平板電腦市場的牆角。

在手機尺寸上落後的蘋果，因為流失一部分「果粉」，決心奮起直追， 將「大尺寸」列為iPhone 6的新亮點之一。
