〔自由時報記者孟慶慈／台南報導〕九十一年前歷史上的今天，日本皇太子裕仁在現今成 大榕園，親手植下的榕樹苗，現今樹形壯闊優美，早是成大的象徵。近期文史學者找資料 無意中發現，大榕樹旁左右二棵老榕也大有來頭，分別是裕仁的兩皇弟雍仁、宣仁所植， 距今也有近九十年。 樹齡距今近90年 文史學者蔡顯隆指出，成大榕園內的三棵老榕樹，以裕仁在大正十二年（一九二三年）四 月廿一日巡視位於台南的步兵第二聯隊（成大前身）所植的名氣最大。 蔡顯隆說，大榕樹東側的榕樹是第二皇子雍仁於大正十四年六月二日親植，西側的則是三 皇子宣仁於大正十五年四月廿八日所種。 蔡顯隆指出，裕仁當年來台，其實一度要取消行程，因為其姨丈北川白宮在法國車禍身亡 、妻子重傷，裕仁根本不想離開日本。經在台日籍高層一再請願，才又決定來台。雍仁、 宣仁則是順道來台，兩位皇子分別在大正十四年、十五年從日本搭船去英國求學，台灣位 於航道上，遂順道上岸巡視。 台南市老樹節促進會發起人李文雄表示，裕仁在台北第一步兵聯隊所植的榕樹早已砍除， 因此成大這三棵老榕樹更顯珍貴。 http://n.yam.com/tlt/life/20140422/20140422245496.html -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 140.116.16.134 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Tainan/M.1398130198.A.049.html
