南韓沉船 8千志工來幫忙

日本「讀賣新聞」報導，南韓客輪歲月號翻覆，至今離出事地點最近的珍島已湧進八千名志工。

「請用餐。」在珍島港口，早、中、晚都有志工團體準備白飯、熱湯與泡菜，「讀賣新聞」形容，志工像在相互較勁般，供餐給睡在戶外帳棚的家屬。當地志工中心統計，十六日事故發生以來五天，共有兩百四十四個團體的七千五百九十七人前來，還有三百八十名個人志工。

廿八歲的男大學生從首爾花四個半小時來到珍島，「在新聞看到這些家屬的狀況，我很難過，想過來幫點忙。」不過八千名志工不一定每個人都有任務，讀賣報導，部分受難者家屬覺得，有些志工在體育館七嘴八舌，拚命拍照留念，「簡直像來參加祭典」，有家屬忍不住開罵。

電信公司在港口附近的體育館設手機充電站與基地台，地區銀行設提款機，教會的物資帳篷有瓶裝水、果汁、香蕉、零食等，體育館入口分發刮鬍刀、牙刷、全新的襯衫、襪子和毛巾給需要的人。
