外長：司徒文談南海 非美立場

美國在台協會前處長司徒文日前表示，我國對南海主權的主張「不切實際」，違反聯合國國際海洋公約。外交部長林永樂昨表示，司徒文說法不代表美國政府立場，美方也從未阻撓我方建設太平島。

國民黨立委林郁方批評，外交部很多人「挾美自重，亂講話」，宣稱我方如果在太平島加強防務，會觸怒美方，因此如碼頭、機場等擴建整修工程應該停止；但自己歷次訪美，與美方會談時，對方從未提及此點。

林永樂也表示，美方從未要求我方停止相關工程。

民進黨立委蔡煌瑯則指出，教宗方濟各多次表達希望與中國加強往來，甚至表達願意前往訪問，雙方對主教任命問題也漸取得妥協，是否代表台梵關係陷入危機？林永樂說，教廷未與大陸建交，主因仍是大陸沒有宗教自由，不是在主教任命上妥協，就能解決根本問題。

教廷駐華代辦陸思道說，教廷與中華民國有許多共同價值，例如法治、尊重人權、宗教自由等，很多人擔心台梵關係，但「我覺得完全不需要擔心」。
