過冬鷺科鳥群 港邊巡弋飛行

基隆港邊昨天有一大群大白鷺、中白鷺等鷺科鳥類，時而忽高，時而忽低在海面上飛翔，有如巡弋一般。

最近基隆港經常會有一批批南下過境的鷺科鳥類，時而忽高，時而忽低，在港邊海面巡弋飛行，有大白鷺、中白鷺、小白鷺、黃頭鷺等，讓民眾驚豔，逗留港邊搶拍。

昨天下午基隆港邊除了有多隻老鷹在空中盤旋，不時俯衝而下搶食旭川河流出的腐食，港邊圍了很多民眾欣賞、拍照。但眼尖的民眾發現，還有一群白色飛鳥在上空徘徊。基隆市野鳥學會總幹事沈錦豐說，這些鷺科鳥類聚在一起，像一個團隊，不分彼此。

理事長李佳陵指出，從日本、韓國、大陸東海一帶南下過冬的鷺科鳥類，經過基隆港，可能以為是一適合覓食棲息的水域，因此飛進港，通常盤旋1、2個小時後就離開。這個月起到11月最常出現，但每天出現的都是不同批的「嬌客」。

他說，這些過境鳥，會繼續往南飛，就像赤腹鷹一樣，為普遍的過境鳥，但有一部分也有可能會留在台灣過冬。基隆港近日湧入一批批的鷺科鳥類，少則20、30隻，多則會到200多隻，但要看到牠們還得碰碰運氣。
