墨礦區 又傳毒物污染河川

（法新社墨西哥市21日電） 墨西哥民防當局今天證實，西北部又傳有毒物質污染事件，銅礦區流出的大量酸性物質，污染了水道。

索諾拉州（Sonora）民防組織說：「證實布埃納維斯塔（Buenavista del Cobre mine）銅礦有毒物質外洩之後，已落實守則來保護索諾拉河（Sonora River）周邊人口。」

墨西哥聯邦環境保護署（PROFEPA）今天深夜表示，污染物質外洩，是因颶風奧迪爾（Odile）引進的連日豪雨引發，並強調污染程度不致危害人體。

民防當局搭機俯瞰銅礦區時，發現有毒物質已外洩到流入巴卡努奇河（Bacanuchi River）的支流。

布埃納維斯塔銅礦是全球數一數二的銅礦區，年產量高達20萬公噸。（譯者：中央社鄭詩韻）
