22人小校愛閱 富山獲磐石獎

〔自由時報記者陳信仁／集集報導〕南投縣集集鎮富山國小是一所學生僅二十二人的迷你小學，老舊圖書館設施簡單，甚至還會漏水，校方循序漸進引導學童進入閱讀天地，多年來同學已養成良好的閱讀習慣，今年更榮獲教育部「閱讀磐石獎」績優學校。代理校長李岱恩表示，學生人數雖不多，更能一對一帶領學童在學習過程有所收穫。

位處集集大山腳下的富山國小因人數逼近裁併校的最低人數二十人檢討標準，去年即未派駐校長，甚至校園裡也沒禮堂、專科教室，但師生運用畸零空間打造優雅舒適的「晨讀區」，在班級規劃「圖書角」，讓學童隨處、隨時都能享受閱讀的樂趣；在教育部補助下，寒暑假也開辦「閱讀寫作營」，常見學童發表精彩的閱讀心得。

教務組長劉琴惠表示，全校有半數學生來自弱勢家庭，如何依照學生的特質、興趣，由教師設計活動及選擇書籍，培養其閱讀能力相當重要，盼能藉此改變他們的未來。
