教宗警告薩爾瓦多青少年慎防幫派

教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)4日在一場和薩爾瓦多青少年的視訊會議中，警告他們要「小心幫派」。
教宗在和索雅潘戈(Soyapango)的一名15歲男孩瑪西亞(Gerardo Ernesto Mancia)與他的大約30名同學對話時，呼籲青少年要努力避開那些禍害這個中美洲國家的暴力集團，轉而專注於他們的學業、運動並且培養對文化的興趣。
索雅潘戈是首都聖薩爾瓦多(San Salvador)郊外的一個城鎮。
教宗告訴他們，要非常小心那些追求破壞、戰爭，不知如何在團隊中共事的團體，他特別警告青少年要「小心幫派」。
勒索、謀殺和強暴在薩爾瓦多十分猖獗，根據官方數據，在1月1日到7月6日之間，就發生了1,910起殺人案，其中多數與幫派有關。
