餿水油爆發一周全台都淪陷，新北市長朱立倫8日受訪時指出，面對食安不能有僥倖之心，因為食安毒害民眾程度比毒品更重，影響面更大，呼籲一定要重罰，絕對要讓業者不能再犯，並將砲火對準地方政府，強調「執行時絕對不能鬆手、絕對不能鄉愿。」

參選連任新北市的朱立倫，今天赴土地公廟參拜祈福，足跡踏遍中和碧河宮、板橋福德祠、埤墘福德宮、埔墘福德宮，受訪時再對最近的餿水油風波發表意見，直指「政府應痛定思痛，從上中下游徹底檢討」，尤其地方政府應該負責，「執行時絕對不能鬆手、絕對不能鄉愿。」

朱立倫還說，中央也需在法令上做修正，不能存有僥倖之心，因為食安毒害民眾程度比毒品更重，影響面更大，因此呼籲一定要重罰，絕對要讓業者不能再犯。
