乳牛怕熱不愛溼 今夏仍缺乳

〔自由時報記者葉永騫／萬丹報導〕天氣太熱讓乳牛泌乳量減少，雖然連續一週大雨讓氣溫降低，但因牛隻不喜歡環境太濕，泌乳量沒有明顯增加，夏季缺乳情形恐無法改善。

今年夏季天氣熱爆了，不但蛋雞產量減少，蛋價狂飆，乳牛泌乳量也大約減少一、二成，造成消費者在夏季搶購牛奶，酪農為了增加產量，電風扇、灑水系統統統派上用場，希望讓乳牛能夠生活舒適，多產一些牛乳。

上週起南部地區連續大雨，氣溫下降了三、四度，不過因為大雨不斷環境潮濕，因此泌乳量並沒有明顯增加。

全縣乳牛養殖最多的萬丹鄉，乳牛頭數大約二萬頭，夏季每天生產的乳量約一百噸，冬天可達一百三十噸，集乳站初估，今年的變化度不大，最近每天約一百噸，本週連續下雨，雖然溫度降低了，但是乳牛的泌乳量並沒有明顯增加，加上養牛的成本太高，增產的數量有限。
