澳洲銀行疑助土地侵佔 樂施會譴責

慈善組織樂施會(Oxfam)今天(28日)發布調查報告，指控澳洲4大銀行暗中資助非法伐木、強占土地和雇用童工的企業。
樂施會在報告中列舉巴布亞紐幾內亞、柬埔寨、印尼和巴西等國的案例，指出澳洲聯邦銀行(Commonwealth Bank)、澳洲西太平洋銀行(Westpac)、澳洲國民銀行(National Australia Bank)與澳盛銀行集團(ANZ)直接或間接資助「土地侵佔」。
樂施會澳洲分會執行長佐客(Helen Szoke)表示，「從巴布亞紐幾內亞、柬埔寨、印尼到巴西等國家，我們的銀行竟援助企業把居民趕離家園」。
遭樂施會點名的4家澳洲銀行不願置評，但強調他們向來遵循正當的放款政策。
樂施會表示，許多澳洲銀行在亞太地區投資，大肆宣傳這些地區富有成長潛力，卻未能了解或因應生意帶來的風險，尤其是對於農業和林業的影響。
