【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】因經濟走強推升通膨壓力，紐西蘭央行周四宣布調升基準利率，並暗示未來幾個月將持續收緊貨幣政策。受此消息影響，紐元大漲約三分之一美分，來到0.8621美元。

紐西蘭央行宣布官方利率提高1碼（25個基點）至3％，符合經濟學家普遍預期。紐西蘭央行上個月啟動升息循環，領先所有已開發經濟體。
