北宜直線鐵路路廊昨天拍板，新線將與台鐵在新北市雙溪車站共站，交通部並構想在雙溪造鎮。

北宜直鐵將新北市雙溪與台鐵交會共站，交通部鐵工局打算在雙溪站周邊興建集合住宅造鎮，吸引大台北人口往外移動。新北市城鄉發展局代理局長邱敬斌說，須評估周邊腹地和生活機能，若無造鎮資源，將成「蚊子」住宅。

新北市雙溪區長胡合鎔對造鎮規畫樂觀其成，希望藉此促進雙溪發展，有助在外地打拚的青年回鄉。
