Wesfarmers售保險事業 擬退場

（中央社台北2014年4月7日電）彭博報導，澳洲企業集團Wesfarmers Ltd.同意以10.1億澳元（9.38億美元）出售旗下保險經紀事業給Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) ，逐步退出保險事業。

總部位於伯斯（Perth）的Wesfarmers (WES) 今天聲明，這項銷售交易稅前獲利料介於3.10-3.35億澳元。

Wesfarmers保險經紀事業包括澳洲OAMPSInsurance Brokers Ltd.，以及紐西蘭的OAMPS (UK)Ltd.和Crombie Lockwood Ltd.。

Wesfarmers去年12月16日同意以18.5億澳元出售保險承銷事業給澳洲汽車與房屋保險商InsuranceAustralia Group Ltd. (IAG) 。

擁有煤礦、化學產品和投資銀行的Wesfarmers持續將公司支出轉移至Coles超市連鎖事業上。Wesfarmers於2007年購買Coles，為澳洲史上最大宗企業併購交易。（譯者：中央社徐睿承）
