脫水體溫高 毛小孩中暑警報

季節變換當心犬貓腸胃道或呼吸道發炎，新竹市獸醫師公會理事長陳明遠昨天指出，犬貓出入冷氣房，溫差大，容易罹患呼吸道疾病，新竹連日高溫，也有許多狗狗「中暑」送醫。

陳明遠表示，寵物戶外停留時間過久，都有中暑的危機，發現後應帶到涼爽的環境，並以冷毛巾覆蓋身體降溫，若寵物體溫高達攝氏40度，有呼吸急促、喘息不斷等症狀，都需緊急送醫，中暑可能伴隨腸胃道發熱，導致寵物嘔吐、下痢等狀況，民眾帶寵物到戶外活動要隨時留意狀況。

新竹市獸醫師公會與市府昨天在二二八和平紀念公園舉辦寵物防疫及醫療觀念宣導活動，免費施打狂犬病疫苗及植入晶片，吸引不少民眾帶著寵物排隊領號。

陳明遠表示，飼主要定期讓寵物施打疫苗，犬、貓只要滿3月齡即需注射第一劑狂犬病疫苗，以後每年定期補強注射，就可以確保人與寵物的健康。
