【時報-台北電】Snapchat通訊app因有閱後即焚的功能，頗受網友歡迎，根據外電報導，美國創投公司KPCB已同意以百億美元估價的市值投資Snapchat。消息傳出後市場頗有雜音，Snapchat真的值這麼多錢？但推特（twitter）執行長科斯特洛（Dick Costolo）隨即在個人推特上力挺：Snapchat的前景光明，100億美元的估計市值不無道理。

科斯特洛還盛讚Snapchat擁有瘋狂的成長、清晰的商業化進程、以及當今最優秀的社交之一。Snapchat去年也拒絕臉書（Facebook）30億美元的收購，當時這個價格就引起不少人驚呼。不久後，臉書就以190億美元代價收購whatapp即時通訊app。

Snapchat目前成為續Uber和Airbnb之後，第三家市值達百億美金的初創公司。Snapcha是北美地區流量最大的第三方IM app，賣點在於閱後即焚，透過該平台發送的消息，會在很短的時間內消失；近期又增加了一些新功能，允許使用者以影音與文字介面聊天。（新聞來源：中時電子報 謝宗龍）
