疑染伊波拉 星隔離奈及利亞婦

（中央社新加坡2014年8月14日綜合外電報導）海峽時報（Straits Times）今天報導，新加坡當局因懷疑一名來自奈及利亞的婦女感染伊波拉病毒，將她送至醫院隔離部門。

海峽時報說，這名50來歲婦女，據信最近搭機前來新加坡，她因為發燒到一家醫院急診室就醫。

報導中說，她立即遭到隔離，並被救護車送到傳染病中心。

鑒於伊波拉病毒在幾內亞共和國造成377人喪生，幾內亞昨天宣布全國進入「衛生緊急狀態」。幾個西非國家等待實驗性疫苗運至的同時，許多飛往西非的航班紛紛取消。

由於西非地區正致力遏止伊波拉蔓延，甘比亞共和國停飛所有來自幾內亞、賴比瑞亞和獅子山共和國的航班。

這波疫情堪稱是40年前首度發現伊波拉病毒以來最嚴重的1次。根據世界衛生組織（WHO），截至昨天，死亡人數來到1069人，而且伊波拉2天內就奪走56條人命。目前總計將近2000人感染。

這波疫情始於幾內亞，病例迄今只限於幾內亞、賴比瑞亞、獅子山和奈及利亞四個西非國家，當地醫療設備不足，衛生體系脆弱，難以控制疫情。
